Hi-Vis workwear with print - class 3, 2 & 1

If you work outdoors in busy environments, it is an absolute must to wear proper high visibility clothing. Rules and guidelines for hazard clothing, classes and certifications vary between different industries, but it is always the employer’s responsibility to provide employees with the appropriate protective clothing.
With us at Arbetsskydd Express, you will find a wide range of high-quality safety clothing, in large and small sizes, for all occupations, seasons and weather conditions. And all the garments you find in our range are of course approved according to current safety standards, whether they come from well-known manufacturers such as Topswede and Blåkläder or our own affordable quality brand NordWear.
We also offer high visibility clothing with print - both in class 1, 2 and 3. But what you need to consider if you want to profile high visibility classed garments is that the print must not be too large or placed in such a way that it covers or reduces the fluorescent surface. However, our in-house printing company has very good experience in creating profile clothing from warning garments, so if this sounds interesting for your company, you are welcome to get in touch!

Safety clothing in large sizes at Arbetsskydd Express

Classification of hi-vis clothing is based on visibility, i.e. how much of the garment consists of fluorescent material or reflectors:

  • Class 3 high visibility clothing must have a total fluorescent surface of at least 0.8 m² and reflectors of 0.2 m².
  • Class 2 high visibility clothing must have a total fluorescent surface of at least 0.5m² and reflectors of 0.13m².
  • High visibility clothing in class 1 must have a total fluorescent surface of at least 0.14m² and reflectors of 0.10m².

The color of the clothes also plays a big role in visibility. It is most common to make warning clothing in orange, red or yellow fabric, the latter of which has the best fluorescent properties in both daylight and darkness.
At Arbetsskydd Express you can find everything from T-shirts, sweaters, vests and jackets to trousers, overalls and rain gear in the form of high visibility clothing. However, shorts, pants and sleeveless garments come in at the highest level of Class 2 because high-visibility clothing must have some fluorescent surface to achieve Class 3. For the same reason, jackets, sweatshirts and similar high-visibility clothing in large sizes can often be certified for Class 3, while smaller sizes in the same models only qualify for class 2.
